Balustrade, Staircase & Walkway in Camden, London
ZedWorks designed and fabricated the full metalwork package for this mews property on Belmont Street, Camden — including the balustrade, staircase and mezzanine walkway.
Working in collaboration with Risner Design, the scheme combines laser-cut blackened mild-steel framing, bespoke steel bosses, and tension-wire infill to keep the lines light and finely detailed.
The mezzanine walkway is completed with CNC-cut plywood panels, forming a clean, geometric rhythm that ties the circulation spaces together.
The blackened steel finish gives the metalwork a calm, matte depth, allowing the detailing to sit comfortably within the pared-back interior.
