Highams Park Entrance Sign – Bespoke Laser-Cut Steel Gateway
A bold, contemporary entrance sign designed to celebrate The Highams Park in Waltham Forest, London.
Fabricated for Merrett Houmøller Architects in collaboration with artist Colin Priest, the project formed part of their winning entry for Waltham Forest Borough Council’s “Making Places” Open Call (2017) — completed in summer 2019.
The installation features a striking laser-cut mild-steel framework, finished in a vibrant, hand painted colour scheme that creates a strong graphic identity and an inviting civic landmark for the park entrance.
